The oldest preserved monument written in the Bosančica alphabet is the charter of Kulin Ban from 1189, as the first diplomatic document issued by a Bosnian ruler to the ruler, i.e. prince of another state, and enabled free trade between the then two states, Bosnia and the Republic of Dubrovnik.

As Bosančica is an alphabet that is still kept in Dubrovnik, our “Bosančica” is also a symbol of authenticity and tradition, as an unbreakable link between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Dubrovnik, when it comes to the economy, art, tourism, and thus gastronomy.
